East Canyon Resort

Brian's parents own an RV spot at East Canyon Resort.  They can reserve time up there when it is available.  They can also bring a guest for a small fee.  So after the rush of Labor Day we were able to reserve some time up there.  We got up there late Friday evening since everyone had work and school.

Saturday we headed up to Park City for some outlet shopping.  Didn't really find too much except a jacket for Oaklan because he was outgrowing what we had.  It seems that with the ecomony the way it is all the stores have the lowest prices and I can get the same deal at any store.  No need for an outlet.

I had caught a horrible cold and didn't feel the best.  When we got back from Park City, Brian took the kids over to the splash pad so that I could try to take a nap.  I didn't get to sleep and spent the time talking to my mother in law.  The kids were freezing cold in the splash pad so they played in the river instead.  Trying to catch the little fish.

Later we were going to go to the kids fish pond.  You have to drive there, so we hopped into the car and found the turnoff but then found out you have to have a combination to get in.  So we returned to camp and had dinner with the family.  Spencer and Corianne even came up and joined us for dinner.

In the middle of the night we also had raccoons join us for dinner.  We didn't even think about putting our trash can away for the night and so they helped themselves to our trash.  They must like ribs!

Sunday morning before we left we went and got the combination for the kids fish pond.  And glad we did.  The kids caught 3 fish each...well that was the limit so we had to stop.  But the family on the other side of the pond didn't catch anything.
