Family Fun Night - Merry Christmas

One of our Christmas gifts this year was a gift card to Toad's Fun Center. After getting our chores done we decided to go and have some fun on a wintery Saturday evening. We tried to get Kennedy to do Laser Tag but since Mom couldn't run around with the baby in her arms Kennedy decided she didn't want to try it. One of these days this girl will learn to try something new.

Toads had recently opened an indoor "glow in the dark" mini golf course. We had fun mini golfing but it was so crowded that we had to wait at each hole. Oaklan didn't want much to do with waiting. We ended up letting him crawl through each of the courses just to keep him quiet. These pictures aren't the best but what do you expect in a glow in the dark course. When Fat Cat's first opened we took Kennedy to their indoor mini golf course.! It was 9 holes and not much as far as obstacles. We were done in 10 mins and didn't really enjoy it at all. Toads is such a different experience. They have a beautiful 18 hole course with an Aztec type theme. Hopefully when the newness wears off it won't be so crowded and we can do it again.

Not only did the family get a gift card to Toads but Kennedy had her own $5.00 card to use so we also spent time in the arcade getting tickets. Awhile ago I posted about a trip to Toads with my co-workers. My co-workers had given me all of their tickets so Kennedy was anxious to buy something with her tickets. She ended up getting a spiky squishy ball.

We also had their Pizza for dinner. It's really good pizza too. I'm glad to see that Toad's is successful and they seem to keep expanding with fun things to do. It's a great place for a family fun night or a birthday party. I highly recommend it. And I have heard that they plan to put in a bowling alley too. What more could you ask for!
