First Grade Program
Kennedy's first grade program was today. She has been so excited and has been telling us all about her parts for weeks. She only had one speaking part (as did every kid) but then they each got to do little actions for some of the songs. The program was about the history of North Ogden Elementary since this is the last year the old school will be open. Staci went to North Ogden Elementary and so did Grandma Maxene. So we thought she would enjoy seeing some of the history. We invited Grandma Maxene, and Grandpa Joe and Grandma Jan, and Grandpa Rod and Grandma Carla and amazingly everyone was able to be off of work and come and see the program. Kennedy did really good. She said her speaking part just right, she was one of the basket holders for the song "A tisket, a tasket", and she held up a sign with the name of a principal during another song. The program was about an hour long. She got kinda bored in some parts and Grandma Jan kept reminding Staci that during Staci's performing years there was a lack of attention. It got Grandma Jan laughing so hard she was crying. Not because Kennedy was bad but because Kennedy is an exact duplicate of Staci. After the program we took Kennedy to "Kirt's" for ice cream. Unfortunately, we forgot the camera and didn't get any pictures. Great Job Kennedy, we are proud of you!
