Kennedy was baptized by her Father on June 5th, 2010. Our Stake normally holds stake baptisms and the families do not get to plan the speakers or the music. But Kennedy was the only 8 year old in our time slot so we got the chance to plan our own program. She had Grandma Jan say the opening prayer. Grandma Carla gave a talk about Baptism and Uncle Brett gave a talk about the Holy Ghost. Uncle Spencer said the closing prayer. Grandpa Joe got to say the prayer over the dinner afterwards.
She had soooo many people show up to support her. I hope she can remember that special day, the feelings she had, and the love that her family and friends have for her.

I know we are missing some people in these pictures too. Pam, Leisa and Lexi, Uncle Don, Uncle Joe and Mitzi. Some people had to leave after the ceremony and missed the dinner. We appreciate the time they took out of their day to show their support for Kennedy.
Kennedy, we are very proud of your decision to become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Congratulations!
