Kennedy had to give her first oral report today. (In First Grade, can you believe it!) They are learning about animals and are going to visit the zoo so each kid had to report on an animal. She chose to talk about Turtles. This actually ended up good because we have been to Hawaii and have pictures of her with the big sea turtles. She got to use those on her poster. They had to talk about where they live, how much they weigh, what they eat, etc. Kennedy practiced all day Sunday and then when it came time to give her report Monday she did it all by herself. No help from Mom and Dad. We are very proud of her.
