Years ago Staci's friend Heidi starting giving her an annual Christmas gift of these special ornaments. They are called Li Bien and they are from Pier One. They are really cool.
They are painted from the inside of the ornament and each one is handmade so they are all a little different. Heidi no longer works with Staci and we were sad that we wouldn't get these ornaments anymore so last year we bought ourselves a couple.
This year we bought our new ornaments before Thanksgiving. Each one of us picked one out. (A group decision was made for Oaklan). 
We decided to pick a new one each year. Staci seems to lean toward the nativity scenes. We have quite the collection of Angels too. We have enough now that the tree no longer has our handmade ornaments of the past. We now have a "fancy" tree. 
No worries though, we have little pine trees for each of the bedrooms and Kennedy chose to use the handmade ornaments on her tree.
