A little miracle

So in my last post I talked about Spencer, my brother in laws, original plans to go hunting instead of to Hyrum. Well his family has had a little miracle. Their daughter Payton is about 8 months old and is learning to roll over and get around. She had her first accident and it was a major one. Little Payton fell off the bed. Every parent has the first time when their child is more mobile than they expect and something happens. My Oaklan has fallen off the bed quite a few times. He is learning to climb down off of furniture and sometimes forgets. Anyway, Payton fell and they checked her out and didn't see anything wrong. Hours later she wouldn't stay awake and she was vomiting. Thank goodness they listened to that little voice that told them to take her to the hospital. They arrived at McKay Dee and ended up having their daughter life flighted to Primary Childrens to have brain surgery. She had broke an artery when she fell and had been bleeding in her brain. Payton was in surgery before they could even drive down to Salt Lake. She ended up spending about 5 days down there but they saved her life. They told Spencer and Corianne that if they hadn't have brought her in when they did that she would have died. The blood clot was very big. And if you could see this little girl, she acts as if nothing happened. She has a big smile on her face and is still her happy little self. We are so grateful for this little miracle. We love you Spencer, Corianne, and Payton.
