Halloween 09

With all the excitement Wednesday and Thursday we didn't get our pumpkins done until Friday night. Kennedy was starting to get worried about them but then didn't show much interest in helping us out.




We expected Kennedy to be sore and not really ready to Trick or Treat. But she surprised us. Her surgery was Thursday, she stayed home from school Friday so she missed her Halloween parade at school. But Saturday we left the house and went to McDonald's for lunch and then to the local Grocery store to trick or treat. Then we went out to Grandma Maxene and Grandpa Arch's house. We re-medicated Kennedy there, and then off to Grandma Jeanne's house, Grandma Carla and Grandpa Rod's house, and Grandma Jean and Grandpa Ez's where we met up with Aunt Lori and all of her family. I expected Kennedy to be really tired after this but when we got home she was ready to Trick or Treat with her friends. Most of her friends didn't know about it until that night. But she went around the neighborhood and stayed out until about 7:30. She's a tough little girl. Sunday we stayed home from church so she could rest but she didn't want any pain medicine at all Sunday. She is still using the ice on her fingers but no medication. She thinks the worst part of all of this is people stopping her to ask what happened.

So here are pictures from Wednesday. The kids visited Grandma Jan and Grandpa Joe before they went out of town. About an hour later is when the accident happened.






This is at Grandma Maxene's. Kennedy was laying down and resting. Grandpa had the tractor and Oaklan learned how to say Tractor on Thursday night. We decided to show him a real tractor. Grandpa Arch took him on it first but he didn't like it. Then Daddy took him up there for a minute.

Kennedy is the oldest (my broken angel), then Masen (Mike Wacowski from Monsters Inc, the green guy), then Konner (Sully from Monsters Inc, the blue guy), then Oaklan (the devil). Konner and Oaklan are 3 months apart in age.





Oh and I can't forget my true love...I can't help but run my fingers through that long luxurious hair...
