Mom made it! The Christmas Parade

We decided to take the kids to the Ogden Christmas Parade. Neither of us have been to the parade since we were little and didn't really remember what to expect. I think the last time the Greenwells went we parked on top of the Ogden City Mall parking lot and watched from up there. That doesn't even exist anymore. So we bundled up and ended up finding a little hole in the crowd just in front of the movie theater.

It was actually pretty fun to see a parade of lights. They also light up the Ogden Christmas Village but we knew that would be packed so we opted to go to the village another night. We walked back to our car and got there just about the same time that the fireworks went off. So we stayed in the warm car and got to see those as well. As we were walking back to the car Staci asked Kennedy how she liked the parade. Kennedy replied that she liked it and then said, "and you made it all the way through the parade without passing out!" I gave her a high five and we did a little celebration that mom was starting to feel better! Hooray!
