Happy New Year to everyone! I can't believe it's 2009. Remember thinking how cool it was going to be in the year 2000 and all the worry about Y2K? That just seems like yesterday. A few years ago we started a tradition of having fondue on New Years Eve. We can snack at it for awhile and it seems to hold us over. Sometimes we play games, sometimes movies. This year we all just kinda did our own thing until midnight rolled around.
We did get some Rock Band in before we started the fondue. Kennedy doesn't have a problem staying awake and I woke up Oaklan for a little celebration. We ended up starting a silly string fight and did a few poppers but we didn't have any fireworks this year so that's about all we did. The kids had fun and we left the mess of silly string all over the house until the next morning. On New Years Day we get together with Brian's family for a traditional Lasagna dinner. We ended up playing Rock Band again that day. Mostly the girls were talking and the boys and kids were playing. But it was a great day with the family.
