Thanks for the Memories

I posted about Kennedy's first grade program before. The program was a play about all the years that the current school has been open. They are building a new school and will be tearing down the old school this summer. So at the end of the school year they had an open house for the old school. They had old pictures posted down the hall and each graduating class could have a "reunion" in one of the classrooms. They had little treats and made a CD. But they also asked the first grade to perform the program again. So this time I was able to get pictures of Kennedy performing. The first picture is a song about all the old principals. The second picture is the song "A tisket, A tasket".

I was also able to get a picture of Grandma Maxene, myself, and Kennedy in front of the school. All three of us have attended that school. I think Grandma said she was in the 4th grade when that school opened and they stayed in that school until High School at the time. Grandma even got an "award" of a framed picture of the school for being part of that first year.
