Kennedy got to choose her birthday breakfast and chose bacon and eggs for Sunday morning. She helped her dad make breakfast and then she got to open her gifts from Mom and Dad.
She got some clothes, a new dress to wear that day to the baby blessing, and Pinocchio. Kennedy has always loved that movie and we have never owned it. She always watched it at Grandma Carlas house. And of course she got some money from some of the Grandparents which is always welcome.
After the baby blessing Grandma Jan and Grandpa Joe, and Brett and Amber came over and gave Kennedy their gifts for her. Brett and Amber gave her the blue Rhino Webkinz she has now named Rhinny. Kennedy loves her webkinz and that makes #13. Grandma Jan knows just what Kennedy loves. Flip Flops! Look at how many pair she ended up with. Some from Grandma and Grandpa and Brett and Amber helped out too.
Kennedy's birthday continued as she got to celebrate at school on Monday. This is Kennedy with the crown and card from her classmates. She took cookies to share on Friday but didn't tell the teacher until the end of the day so they had cookies Friday but had enough leftovers to have more on Monday.
Looks like a pretty good birthday to me...and she still has the Toads Day to look forward to!
