Leaves? No those are bugs!

Okay, so we had the grossest thing happen. We bought Oaklan a little splash pad pool for his birthday. Something he can crawl on. It was really cute and has alot of fun things for him to play on. We set it up in the front yard on his birthday. A few of the parts blow up with air. So I spent time blowing all those things up. Then you attach the hose and the fun starts. So I attach the hose and the water is really slow to run through it. But eventually it makes it all the way around and the stuff starts to spray. The kids were having fun. Then all of the sudden I noticed some leaves that were clogging up some of the holes where the water would come out. I thought that was weird and wondered what was in my hose to have caused that. Then I realized that the hose was hooked to the house water and so it shouldn't have been anything in the water. I asked Brian about the hose and he had just used it to fill the travel trailer full of water so it had been running for awhile. If there was anything in the hose it would have been gone by now. So we start looking closer at the pool and realized that the leaves were coming from the inside of the pool. Lots of little leaves. I kept pulling them out...more and more, then all of the sudden....I saw a white larva looking worm come out. So gross. So we get the kids out and get them bathed. Upon further investigation and gathering of the leaves we find out that there are more worms and more leaves and some of the "leaves" were really coccoons. Are you creeped out yet. We wrote to the company and never recieved any answer from them. I posted a nasty review online about it and then we took the pool back. We got a new one and hope that this one will be clean from bugs. We haven't tried it yet, I'll have to keep ya posted.
