So Brian had a kinda pitiful Father's Day. I ordered him some new shoes..his favorite kind of shoes..Merrell's. They are expensive but seem to last him better than the others we buy. Brian has wide feet so it's hard to find good comfortable shoes for him without ordering them. You would think if you ordered shoes over a week before Father's Day they should get here in time. Nope! It took two weeks to ship them. Whatever! So he didn't get a present from me. And knowing that we spent alot for the shoes I didn't get anything from the kids. So the Thursday before Father's Day, while Dad was at work, me and Kennedy made a Rice Krispy Cake and frosted it to look like a shirt. Then we boxed it up and wrapped it like a shirt and took it up to Dad's work. He shared it with his co-workers but it turned out very very sticky. I don't know why it never set up and we ended up throwing the rest of it away. Then on Sunday, for some unknown reason, our ward doesn't believe in talking about Father's during Sacrament meeting or in giving the Father's a gift. Weird...with as much emphasis as there is on having a good priesthood holder in the home shouldn't we honor them. So the Primary made these little bow ties out of M&M bags. Cute huh! Happy Father's Day Brian. Sorry it was kinda pitiful but we love you!
