A stimulus package

So when we refinanced our house this summer we ended up getting some cash back. We decided to splurge, help the economy, and spend our money to have the house painted. Originally we were going to do it ourselves but since we are not very fond of painting it was nice to let a professional take control of that. If anyone out there is looking for a good painter, interior or exterior, I highly recommend 'The Edge Painting'. Awesome work, clean and professional, and willing to work with a picky wife. So we have looked at other houses for awhile trying to pick just the right color combinations. We really liked when the trim is a different color and went back and forth between dark house, light trim. Or light house, dark trim. We finally picked out dark house, light trim. After the painting crew painted the trim on the back of the house I didn't like it...too light. So I had him go back and get a darker shade. Still didn't like it. So Stephen, the owner, mixed me up just the right color. What a wonderful job. He even worked over the weekend just to get it done. So we came back from vacation to a finished house. Here's the final result. Now we need to move on to shingles. They really look old with the new paint job!

It looks really nice!

So, is it just me, or do your posts show up weeks after they're dated? I was on your blog yesterday, but this post dated July wasn't there....

Jen - your right. I actually back date my posts since I keep this blog as a journal. I print a copy and send it to a grandparent. I put the date it happened on there instead of a current date. Good thing it let's me do that...I can get so far behind!
