Steam Engines

Golden Spike National Park has a steam festival in the winter and they bring out the Jupiter steam engine for a display.  We decided to spend one of our vacation days enjoying the "choo choo's". 

First we rode this up and down the track.  It was alot harder to get going than I expected it to be.

Then we got to go inside the engine and look around.

Then we got to see the engine in action.  They start it up and run it up and down the little bit of track that remains at the site.  I wish it would have been a clearer warmer day but we still had a good time.
